Job Description

Market Managers will be a key member of the Prytania leadership team, driving the development and management of their geographic market. The Market Manager plays a critical role in driving opportunities and revenue; delivering solutions to our Customers, providing overall direction on Customer projects including direct supervision of the Project Team and maintaining budgets and sales targets.  The Market  Manager will have profit and loss responsibility for his/her market and own Customer satisfaction for existing and new engagements.  Collaborate with other Market leaders and manage the local Prytania team.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for Customer satisfaction and retention
  • Must understand the project life-cycle under both a classic waterfall model and an agile model from project kickoff through to roll-out
  • Responsible for the success (high quality, on time, on budget) of Customer programs/projects
  • Work with the Prytania team to ensure Customer satisfaction as well as pursue new opportunities
  • Responsible for structuring the overall program/project plan, budget, schedule and staffing requirements
  • Responsible for efficient team utilization on each project
  • Ensure that company standards, methods and tools are utilized on the projects to achieve project success
  • Determine responsibilities of assigned department and staff positions to accomplish business objectives
  • Manage escalations and complaints – maintain Customer executive checkpoint meetings
  • Train and ensure all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company and Customer policies and procedures
  • Lead in various proposal and contractual pricing efforts and drive revenue and profit margin goals
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
  • Responsible for managing Profit and Loss and ensuring achievement of budgets and sales objectives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 10 years related experience, or an equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Knowledge and experience developing large technology projects and managing diverse teams is mandatory
  • Must work effectively with senior-level executives and have significant Customer-interfacing experience as well as strong presentation skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, maturity, good judgment and capability of communicating with a diverse range of individuals required
  • Must have demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others
  • Ability to think ahead and plan over a 1-2 year time span
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and innovatively. Outstanding written and oral presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success at managing a P&L and meeting or exceeding financial objectives
